I entered the house,
And from the outside
It seemed to be
Unassuming.
And that’s when I
Saw the yellow painted floors
And the exotic trinkets
And the light streaming through
The window and
Illuminating their eyes,
An earthy type of green.
And suddenly the houses
Of my past crumbled,
Because she brought me the
Yellow floors and
Then gave my heart
A home.
