I love the mountains, and the connection to Earth that we as human beans all have. We are each born with a desire to move higher, and to overcome challenges in life, it is innate in who we are. The divine has created some pretty amazing creations.

I have also been reflecting a lot on the impact community can have when people come together to support each other. We see people everyday who stand at the bottom of mountains, overwhelmed by what is ahead of them.

.

There are voices telling people to give up on their dreams.

.

That they don’t have the skills.

.

That they will never be enough.

.

That their contribution doesn’t matter.

.

That they have no purpose.

.

That they don’t belong.

.

So when you see another living human soul who is struggling to travel over these mountains of doubt and fear, help them hike that mountain.

.

Go at their pace.

.

Listen to the story that they have to tell about their personal journey.

.

Tell them how others have walked this exact same path before.

.

Give them the lasting gift of genuine encouragement.

.

Give them the gift of love instead of judgement.

.

And most important, in ways unique to you, help them climb that mountain.
