SERENDIPITOUS

SERENDIPITOUS

I wonder,
Is it better to believe
That nothing has meaning…

Or that there are
No coincidences,
And that my place on this
Floating rock,
Spinning in space,
Is perfectly aligned?

That there are people
That I am meant to meet,
To love,
To learn from,
And moments
That I am meant to
Enjoy and relish
And suffer and cry.

A whole galaxy,
And I exist.

As a human being
Among a larger whole,
With purpose,
With orbit,
With light,
One who is prone
And designed for
Synchronicity.

A whole world,
And I get to love.

I never want to
See another human,
A being of light like me
And dismiss them,
And be wishing then
That I had seized
The serendipitous
Coincidence
And chose to
mold the meaning which
Is given to me.
