[mind] and she looks like she is like confetti reincarnated!
[heart] but I don’t want to open up again, it’s like unpacking a really messy cardboard box, and I can’t remember everything that I’ve shoved in there
[mind] and I literally get exhausted from trying to figure out what people are thinking and how to respond
[heart] and then I just get ignored when I try to tell you all how I feel
[mind] lol you do not, you hardly listen to me when I speak up
[butterflies] how will you know if the magic in her eyes is real unless you give yourself the chance to let her know you?
[mind] logically that makes sense
[heart] but so scary to let that happen
[butterflies] and so beautiful to experience, it’s like flying
[heart] that sounds lovely until the pain comes
[mind] and then you have to start going through all of the words and experiences and moments and then letting them go
[butterflies] and once you let your fear go, then you can let yourself be loved
[mind] I’m not sure you understand what it’s like to “just let something go” if you love it
[heart] and how much it makes you bleed in the emptiness
[butterflies] If someone leaves you, you life wasn’t their home. You must allow yourself to the possibility that perhaps there is a heart that will listen to those feelings and mind that will share their electricity.
[mind] and what if I do allow her to love me?
[heart] and what if I choose to love her back? and I let myself fall?
[butterflies] then you just might be starting the most sparkling experience of your life, with someone who is yearning for the same.
[mind] and what happens when I hurt her?
[heart] and when I can’t make her pain go away?
[butterflies] with the right person, the healing always comes. And so does the warmth, the closeness, the softness. The hope and the fear and the pain and the love and the glorious excitement of learning to know another soul.
