I approach with quiet 

Adoration in my heart.

I show the consent and the

Respect that was not given,

And I say “You know exactly who you are

And when a change needs to happen,

Your mindandbodyandheartandall 

Of the magic in the universe

To do”. 

I will buy her something with 

Lots of sugar and frosting and 

Butter and wheat and then we’ll chat about her hopes and dreams because I want 

To see what made her look at life with starry eyes. 

And then as I leave, 

I say “Even though there are 

So many who will say you need 

To earn your love, remember 

That’s something that existed with you

In the cosmos before you arrived,

And since nothing can be created or destroyed,

Know that this love can never be taken

Or given to you”.

She replies “I need to discover it in myself”.
